Currently, I'm working with the Microsoft SQL UX group on some new software that allows information workers to do powerful data analysis using familiar tools.
During the past 12 years of my career I have designed, defined and built core web presences and internal software applications for corporations, government and charities. Organizations like: World Wildlife Fund, CIBC, Honda, MSN Sympatico, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Magna Entertainment Inc., the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Toronto Stock Exchange, and the Canadian Olympic Commission.
I am a member of the Program Advisory committee for Sheridan College's "Communications, Culture and Information Technology" program. This has been very rewarding experience. I'm also active in the BarCamp community and have assisted in organizing many unconference events in Toronto, which have helped me develop my facilitation skills and given me a greater understanding of a wider software industry.
